Ray comes to Engel & Völkers with over 25 years on hands-on experience and industry-tested success. In addition to his experience as a successful real estate investor and broker/manager, his abilities are augmented with a broad based business background as an executive manager and consultant. His real estate investment experience started in Hilton Head, SC as a Broker Sales Executive for ClubCorp of America where he was awarded in sales achievement for fractional homes and best closing ratio of sales to appointments (22% - threshold of 10%). His success was a platform for promotion to Director of Sales where sales momentum doubled a top sales team performance by 123%. By achieving this performance level and reputation, his career quickly evolved into an independent executive sales position with Melrose Development Corp. Here he was able to blend his sales success with prudent personal investing that yielded significant returns. Mr. Alexander not only holds the record for selling the most expensive residential property in greater Tampa Bay, but has extensive experience as a developer, entitlement manager, and land acquisition specialist. He is also well versed in all aspects of REO/Short Sale transactions with extensive background in commercial and development projects ranging from high end luxury homes, affordable housing, multi-family residential, rental management, and commercial projects. Combined with his property investments and real estate sales achievement, his executive management and consultant experience serves him well in his responsibilities with Engel & Völkers. From managing start-up companies and product launches to change management consultation, he delivers solid talent and experiential value to Engel & Völkers. Other contributing skills and experience include creating innovative sales training programs combined with constructive performance metrics, dynamic copywriting for any media or written conveyance, and innovative curricula design for unique web-based online training programs. Mr. Alexander has completed post-graduate work for achieving dual Masters Degrees in business and innovation management, and holds a B.S. from Arizona State University where he also participated as a full scholarship athlete (football quarterback). Licenses and certification includes Florida Real Estate & Mortgage Broker, NASD series 7 & 63, and Private Pilot License.
