About

Tammy Mack is a Rochester, New York native and comes to Engel & Völkers with a wealth of successful experience in real estate. With a fast start in the building and lumber supply business, Tammy honed her knowledge with a twelve-year career at Grossman’s Lumber. There she rose through the ranks taking on more responsibility and eventually relocated from New York to Massachusetts. Tammy then set off to Florida with her husband to raise her two sons. While in Florida, she worked with a contractor supply company and expanded her home building knowledge even further. Here she learned the basic elements of building a home to include electrical, plumbing, framing and roofing. It’s this special experience that enables her to so credibly assist clients when viewing and selecting a home. Basking in the proud achievement of raising her sons whom are now involved in their own accomplished careers - commercial aviation and nuclear medicine - Tammy made the move to the mountains of North Carolina to work with her father in a luxury log cabin business. After he completed four luxury log mountain cabins in one year, Tammy staged and decorated them for promotion on vacation rental venues. It took quick life as two of the cabins were purchased promptly by first-time guest renters. With this validation of their concept and design, Tammy and her father simply decided to build and sell vs. rent. Concurrent with this, Tammy and her parents also started a retail business in a building they owned – Obsessions Beads and Glass. Tammy took point on setting up the entire shop and business, from inventory, computer systems, to packaging and logo design. The shop doubled in size within one year and quickly escalated to the talk of Asheville’s artist community. The shop’s legacy is galvanized within Asheville to this day. Upon her exit from the retail business, Tammy left North Carolina to be back with Florida beaches and weather. Landing in Ormond Beach, she began her real estate career where she and her partner quickly rose to the top of luxury sales in the Daytona Beach luxury condo market. Exceeding over $25 million in her first two years, Tammy maintained her success and stayed in the top 25% percentile of her peer agents. Now back in Tampa to be close to her children, Tammy quickly reinvented herself to become a strong performer. Once again by demonstrating her unique level of building industry experience and business acumen, Tammy works to provide clients a concierge level of service and peace of mind throughout the entire transaction process.
